Welcome to Write Mind. By using our app or website, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're short and written in plain English.
1. What Write Mind Is
Write Mind is a guided creative writing app. It helps you write a complete story across 10 levels using video prompts, timed writing sessions, and AI-powered feedback. It is intended to be a supportive creative tool, not a substitute for professional mental health care.
2. Your Account
- You must provide a valid email address to register.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Write Mind.
3. Your Content
The stories and writing you create in Write Mind are yours. You retain full ownership of everything you write.
By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your writing for the purpose of delivering the service (e.g. saving your progress, generating AI feedback). We will never sell or publicly share your writing without your consent.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Write Mind to:
- Upload or create content that is illegal, harmful, or abusive.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the app.
- Impersonate other users or attempt to access other accounts.
5. AI-Generated Content
Write Mind uses AI (OpenAI) to generate writing prompts and feedback. These are provided to inspire and support your writing — they are not professional advice. AI-generated content may occasionally be imperfect or unexpected.
6. Mental Health Disclaimer
Write Mind is a creative writing tool. It is not a therapy service, mental health app, or crisis support tool. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or a crisis helpline in your country.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep Write Mind running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of Liability
Write Mind is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Write Mind after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
